As often as I see SALES around shops, the voice inside me starts to tell me to check out those shops for some cheap deals you can get only this time! How do they say it? "This is the last sale of the season", "a big clearance", "This weekends ONLY, must ends on Monday"...
And so what? - you tell me. Some of the sales are really helping to get a cheaper deal and save some money! Yes, that's what market wants us to think, but we end up on buying staff we even don't need, only because it's "on sale" and eventually we spend even more. So does the SALE really helps you to save?
In my case the answer would be "NO". In excitement of buying cheaper stuff, we getting more than planned to get, things we don't actually even need... and eventually by "sale hunting" we becoming a shopaholics, even though do not noticing it ourselves...
I have a necklace (the one which says "I love NY")... remember I got it only for $1, but original price was $7... and you know what? I have never worn it! Why did I bought it then? Because it was on SALE.
In this case it was just a dollar, I didn't lost much, but I am pretty sure I can find more expensive useless "Sale things" I got in my closed. And not only mine...
There is also another "good" side of SALE is when you not addicted to it, it's always better for your wallet to buy reduced price item, then full price one. But use it ONLY as planned expences, we have to be carreful here, because it's so easy to "cross the line".
